What to expect from our coaching relationship
Executive Coaching
We define a leader as anyone whom others look to for advice and help. Executive coaching is for leaders looking for support in what can sometimes be an isolating role. An executive coach can be a sounding board, a thought partner, and an accountability partner, to help leaders see what they might be missing about themselves or what their staff might not be comfortable saying directly to them. It is an invaluable partnership that standardizes the honest feedback and fine-tuning every leader needs. Unlike a board member, direct report, a friend, or former colleague, an executive coach has one singular focus: supporting you to be a better leader.
What to expect from our coaching relationship
Getting Started – Introductory Session
There is no charge for this introductory session where we can get to know each other a little, discuss what led you to consider coaching, and give you an opportunity to learn about our approach.
Design your Change
Once the collaborative relationship has been mutually agreed to, we will work with you to design a coaching plan. A typical plan lasts six months. Co-creating this plan can take several sessions. We will identify goals with tangible metrics, enabling you to see the results of your action.
Working Together
Hour-long sessions can be scheduled either weekly, bi-weekly (most common), or monthly. All coaching is remote. Phone, Teams, or Zoom are all options with their own distinct benefits. We will discuss what works best for you.
Check-ins
At agreed upon intervals, we will check in to see if the plan and coaching relationship are working for you. We will adjust as necessary if your goals or life have changed in the intervening months.
Closure / Creating a Path for Lasting Change
At the end of our agreed upon timeframe, we will review your goals, assess how you believe you have progressed towards achieving them, and discuss ways to make that change durable and sustainable.
